Project Highlights

Tekai proposed that Osuria migrate their mobile app from Xamarin to React Native and JS technologies due to Xamarin's impending end-of-support and to leverage React Native's wider adoption, active maintenance, and JS's vast ecosystem.

The Tekai team continues to be the trusted, long-term partner maintaining the mobile app, while also providing recommendations to other Osuria development teams, such as the web and backend teams.

Our Cooperation

We had weekly syncs with Osuria’s project manager to ensure alignment on migration progress and to clarify any questions about the existing application.

During these syncs, we made sure to explain technical concepts in simple terms, while maintaining focus on the client’s business domain. This approach enabled the client to make well-informed, business-centric decisions.

Our Achievements

The Tekai team successfully migrated the application in just over one month, despite insufficient code documentation in the old mobile application. During development, Tekai and Osuria also gradually migrated existing applications to new technologies, while ensuring a positive user experience. From the end user's perspective, the app remained largely unchanged. Furthermore, the Tekai team provided detailed system documentation to enhance Osuria personnel's understanding of their system.
